Division of Head & Neck Surgery and Otology

With award-winning multidisciplinary care for ear, nose and throat (ENT) conditions, we offer assessment and solutions for diseases of the ear, head and neck regions, which includes state-of-the-art surgical solutions for patients experiencing cancers, benign tumors, facial deformities and facial trauma. We treat both adult and pediatric age groups. From cochlear implants to microvascular reconstructive surgeries, the Division is committed to advancing the treatment of ear, nose and throat conditions through scientific research and applied clinical practice. Our physicians collaborate and perform joint surgeries with members of the neurosurgery, plastic surgery, dermatologic surgery and general surgery divisions. We are proud that our members have received numerous individual Best Doctors awards locally and nationally and proud to be repeatedly ranked as a top ENT provider in the country.

We are an active teaching division, hosting residents from the US Naval Medical Center San Diego (Balboa) training program.
