Division of Hospital Medicine
Our Hospital Medicine Division diagnoses and treats illnesses requiring a hospital stay, coordinates care among inpatient teams, consults on internal medicine problems for patients on specialty services, and assists with the transition back to outpatient primary and specialist care after hospital discharge. Our hospitalists provide a full span of inpatient testing, treatment and care services, shaping approach based on the individual’s history, medications, functional mobility, diet and social support, to craft the best, medically sound approach. By improving communication, training, and involvement, we aim to leverage our expertise in patient care and systems improvement to elevate the experience of practitioners and patients alike.
